The Foundation is the charitable arm of Northwest Federal Credit Union, born from the same belief that has always driven the credit union: people helping people. We exist to empower youth through education, financial well-being, and access to the basic needs that allow students to show up, engage, and thrive.

While the Foundation operates as a fully independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Northwest Federal Credit Union generously covers our salaries, office space, and other in-kind services. This unique partnership allows virtually every dollar donated to the Foundation to go directly toward supporting our mission rather than administrative overhead. It’s a model we are proud of and one that ensures your generosity goes further.

We responsibly steward every dollar entrusted to us and maintain full transparency in our financial practices. Our financial statements are independently audited on an annual basis, and we make these reports available to provide clear visibility into our operations and impact.
