Food for Kids (February – March)
We provide kid-friendly, individually packaged meals to students at local schools, ensuring no child goes home hungry over the weekend.
When a child is hungry, cold, or missing basic essentials, learning becomes nearly impossible. At the NWFCU Foundation, we believe meeting these fundamental needs isn't just charitable work, it’s the springboard for a child’s entire future. By providing these everyday essentials, we ensure students have the health, dignity, and confidence to show up fully in the classroom.
Throughout the year, we mobilize our community through four seasonal drives to bridge the gap between need and opportunity.
We provide kid-friendly, individually packaged meals to students at local schools, ensuring no child goes home hungry over the weekend.
Our youth hygiene drive provides the essential personal care products that support a student’s health, hygiene, and daily dignity.
We equip students with new athletic shoes and socks, giving them the comfort and confidence they need to walk into the new school year ready to succeed.
We distribute warm coats, hats, and gloves to families across our region, ensuring every student stays safe and warm during the coldest months.
We have set ambitious targets for this year to reach more students than ever before. Join us in hitting these milestones:
